Three Quotes Book Tag – Day #3

In Blog Awards and Tags by Nya9 Comments

And my first post since my return to the UK (Switzerland was really nice by the way, in case you are curious this was the city I’ve visited: Basel) will be my third and last quote for the Three Quotes Book Tag! – Yes, still cheating.

Welcome to Day #3!

The Rules:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you – Thank you again, reinreads.
  2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
  3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.

The Quote:

Today, I will simply quote a book I am reading (actually listening to) at the moment. It actually is quite quotable, more than I’d thought so – Only pleasant surprises, it seems, with Fireblood by Jeff Wheeler. I was listening to it today, at work (while wishing I was still on holiday) and then I thought: Hey, this is a good quote!

They hate truth for the sake of whatever it is that they love in its place. When truth benefits them, they love it. When it rebukes them, they hate it. They love truth when it reveals itself and hate it when it reveals them.

Feel free to comment.

The Nominees:

Today’s nominees will be:

Read it Or Not Reviews

Mud and Stars

Susanne Valenti

As always, please do not feel pressured to do this, if you don’t do tags or if you simply don’t have time – or if you’ve done this already, in which case I apologize.

What a gorgeous quote. Are you enjoying the book so far? 🙂

Also, I’ve just tagged you on the How I Read Book Tag on my blog. Feel free to ignore this if you’re not interested (I just thought it’d be fun), but if you do it, then I’d love to read your answers.

    1. Author

Thank you! Considering this is the first audio book I am actually going to finish, I’d say yes I am enjoying it:) Thanks for tagging me, I’ll go check it!

Well, it was difficult for me to take the leap too. I still don’t like it as much as reading, but I’ve started enjoying it during work (not busy times) or house tasks that do not allow you to be sitting and reading. And Kindle lets you switch between Audio and Reading, so doesn’t mean you have to be listening to the whole book. As long as you see this as some ‘extra reading time’ I think it’s worth it:)
