TBR Thursday #19 + Update

In Feature by Nya4 Comments

Hello everyone, and thank God it’s Thursday! So I know my pace has slowed down, but I’d rather keep it steady than feeling overwhelmed. Blogging and reading is something I enjoy doing, so the last thing I want is to see it as some sort of obligation. With that being said, I have finally finished reading one of my review copies, and will be posting a review soon.

Now, before I start talking about my TBR list, I am here with some news. I have started a blog with another person (I have NEVER ever blogged with someone else, so bear with me). It is not about books, but it does involve both of our interests: video games, music, movies, and comics. So go take a look and we will love you forever – click here to follow the link. Also, I did say this year that I was planning on reading some more graphic novels and comics, so he is helping me a lot with that challenge. While I am helping him with the challenge of reading new books. It’s a win win!

Also, I have changed my form for book review submissions to something much cooler and easier to fill (I  think). Enjoy!

Let’s get to business then.

Finished reading:

As mentioned above, I have finished reading one of my review copies which has been kindly offered by Jonathan Ballagh.

The Quantum Door

What I am reading:

I have a few books that are taking priority in my list, due to me wanting to review them accordingly as promised. I don’t want to do an exhaustive list but I have a plan in mind. Apart from that, I am reading, at a slow pace, the first volume of The Dark Tower, and this is a read along with Fenrile (yes, this is the awesome person I mentioned above).

Dark Tower Stephen King

What is new on my TBR:

Again, I don’t know where to start! Fenrile offered me the following graphic novel, which has been highly recommended by him and a few of you, so I just want to say that I have high expectations. In fact, I am reading this at the moment, so it shouldn’t take me too long to finish it.

Review Copies Accepted:

New Kindle Purchases:

And that’s all for now! I still have two reviews of books I have already read that need to be done and posted. Busy bee, busy bee. How’s everyone’s TBR?

  1. Karin Rita Gastreich

You’ve have a great list of books here! I’ve read Watchmen and Storm Front. I enjoyed Storm Front a lot; came away from Watchmen with mixed feelings. I’m interested to see what you think about both.

My tbr list continues to grow at a healthy pace; I can never keep up with it. Right now I’m reading Under Heaven by Guy Gavriel Kay and The Famine of Men by Richard H. Kessin.

Thank you so much for your comment and input, Karin, nice to have you in my blog. My TBR never stops growing either, I know the feeling. So many books to read and so little time. I will surely share my thoughts once I am done with them. Enjoy your reads
